(1) In the event of an accident or death or loss of any member of the mountaineering team, contact officer, leader, mountain guide, altitude worker, base camp worker or local worker during the mountain climbing, a report of complete details regarding this shall be sent to the contact with the mountain climbing team. The official or the leader of the mountaineer party or any member should submit it to the Government of Nepal.
(2) Based on the report received in accordance with sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal may informally inform the concerned person or agency that a person has died or disappeared.
